Q2 2026 Highlights
At Tessa, our mission is to reimagine real estate for a changing world by creating spaces that inspire and deliver lasting value for the businesses and communities we serve. As we reflect on the second quarter of the year, we're grateful for the opportunity to partner with clients on projects that are shaping the future of our communities in meaningful ways.
This quarter, our team renewed leases for several long-time clients, helping them continue to grow and thrive. We also completed the lease for Burn Bootcamp's new Trussville location and closed the transaction that will bring Feast, a new restaurant, to Birmingham's Avondale neighborhood, two projects that support vibrant local communities.
We also had the privilege of supporting the City of Birmingham's Department of Unhoused Services on the Oasis project, guiding the process from site selection through lease negotiations. In West Homewood, we completed construction management for the Mother's Milk Bank's new administrative office and laboratory, delivering a space that will support its important work for years to come.
Beyond client projects, we continued investing in our own portfolio by launching a new website for 3rd Ave Storage, making it easier for customers to find and reserve storage solutions. We're also continuing to explore redevelopment opportunities in Birmingham's Switch District as we look for new ways to create lasting community impact.
Another exciting milestone this quarter was becoming licensed to practice real estate in the State of North Carolina. This expansion allows us better to serve clients with real estate needs across state lines while continuing to grow alongside the businesses and communities we support.
None of this would be possible without our incredible team, whose creativity, expertise, and dedication make every project possible. We're equally grateful to our clients and partners for trusting us with their vision, and we're excited to build on this momentum in the months ahead.
