Having spent much of her career at the point where projects either move forward or don't, she is increasingly interested in the intersection of adaptive reuse, neighborhood-scale redevelopment, and emerging technologies that may reduce friction in the development process.

Libby's expertise and focus is on adaptive reuse of historic downtown Birmingham buildings, retail investments in walkable communities, and client representation. She has a passion for serving Birmingham’s nonprofits as a board member and helping with their real estate needs. Formerly, she was President of Bayer Properties and SVP of Retail Redevelopment at General Growth Properties in Chicago.
